A reggae song?  Hey, if you haven't noticed that our music is all over the board by now, you weren't paying attention. After all, we've got folk, jazz, blues, country, western, calypso and whatever else on this website, and that's only part of our repertoire.  So here's a nice happy upbeat major-key reggae song about global warming.  Just the thing for a rainy afternoon.  Or a hot one.

Ooh, yeh
World is bringin’ on your dampest fears
You’ll be living in a vale of tears
No more hide now--no more cover ears
‘Cause the earth be warmin'   Ooh, yeh

Little darlin’ I fear for you
She need a good ship and a rasta crew
Have a lifeboat and a little spliff, too

Chorus
Earth be warmin’ -- yes, she’s warmin'
Warmin' warmin' -- on man and woman
Earth be warmin' -- it’s what will be
For you and me -- earth be warmin'
Ooh, yeh

Rain and sunshine make the crops grow stronger
All good rasta stayin’ higher longer
Much confusion with the greenhouse among her
Earth be warmin'    Ooh, yeh

Greenhouse come from too much procreation
All the people like their recreation
Polar bear prefer the glaciation ('cause)

Chorus
Earth be warmin’ -- yes, she’s warmin'
Warmin' warmin' -- on man and woman
Earth be warmin' -- it’s what will be
For you and me -- earth be warmin'
Ooh, yeh

Mr. Gore he make the scary movie
And the message it’s not really soothing
Lowland people not ready to be moving
Earth be warmin'      Ooh, yeh

Man in big house mostly clueless
Drink the bourbon then he try to do less
Push the laws that are worse than useless
Earth be warmin'      Ooh, yeh

People stupid ‘bout the information
Want the toys come from the corporation
Make a landfill of the whole damned nation
Chorus: Earth be warmin', etc.

Chorus
Earth be warmin’ -- yes, she’s warmin'
Warmin' warmin' -- on man and woman
Earth be warmin' -- it’s what will be
For you and me -- earth be warmin'
Ooh, yeh
